Chairman Club members and their guests returned back to Leederville Function Centre on Friday 15 October 2021. Attendees enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal (created by Glenn and his team at Only Food and Sauces), whilst listening to the experiences and stories that our Guest Speakers were telling.
With an Olympic flavour added to the Luncheon, attendees were able to hear the experiences and stories from three Olympians who competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, as well as x2 Gold Olympian and fellow Chairman's Club Member, Todd Pearson. Annabelle McIntyre, Brianna Throssell and Tamsin Cook joined Todd onstage as our 'Olympian Panel' and were asked a series of questions from our incredible MC, David Christison. After main meals were completed, attendees were joined by Kim Hughes for laughs and a heart-felt personal story. For those wanting to know the book that Kim recommended reading, it is called 'Happiest Man on Earth' by Eddie Jaku OAM.
Whilst Kim auctioned off two of his personal items, Mark Whiteman conducted a mini-auction afterwards, where some amazing prizes were up for grabs.
